Throttle Closing slowly

My throttle closes really slowly. Any suggestions... it just creeps closed. Ive been using just some bluray grease. I have a feeling that its that... as my friend does the same and has the same problem. What do you use? or could it be something else?

Have you taken off the throttle grip and cleaned and greased it...also check the cables for free movement :thumbup :riding

My own experience is the the throttle return spring is pretty strong. Lubricate and if that doesn't work look first at the twistgrip, if that is undamaged replace the cables.

i have taken it off a number of times over the life of my bike. What kind of grease do you use? Ive been using axle grease just because I have gallons of it
