Help with 01 r1 [Archive]

Just got the bike back together after replacing 2nd gear. Starts up fine, but there is a high pitch squeal coming from the front side of the motor. It's definitaly with the rotation of the engine, but doesn't sound to be a bearing. Anyone have any insight, or have a motor sittin around that they wanna sell so i don't have to deal with this one?

How far did you break down the engine when you were busting apart the tranny case?
