Is it Ok to run the bike without any custom mapping done with the the mods I have listed below? I dont plan on running it much. Just starting it up here and there until riding season and I would like to ride it to the dyno shop which is about 45 mins away. By the time I roll my bike out this spring I will have the following mods done: Graves V-Stacks Graves Slide Stops AIS Removal/Smog Block Offs Devil Full Exhaust System PCIIIusb Any help would be great! Thanks in Advance

Yeah man, you're ok.. BUT Getting a "custom" tune done will greatly effect the air/fuel ratio which in turn makes your bike run like it should with those mods. When you put the PCIII on their you can find a dynojet map or search the forum for the same mods that you have (should be good for finding that except for the devil exhaust because that's not one of the "popular" ones). With those mods you won't be hurting the bike but you surely won't be getting the potential that you should be out of each aftermarket part. Tuning your bike will take in all of the modifications and compensate on extra air, backflow, fuel, rpm's, etc... To answer your question directly.... NO if you leave it like that with no tuning you'll be FINE.... BUT... what's the point of puting all that expensive aftermarket performance parts on the bike if you are not going to use them to their full potential???:dunno

No way around that. I just wanted to make sure it was ok to start it up and let it run it in my garage while I cant ride it with snow on the ground. :crash I did the mods over this winter. The only riding I plan on doing before getting it custom tuned is on the way to the dyno shop to get it custom tuned. Thanks

Then you are more than fine. I've got a few mods on mine and have yet to get it custom tuned. There are thousands of guys on here that don't have a tuned bike other than PCIII map that dynojet gives out, which are ok, but to get it to a bike shop and have them map it out every 300-500 rpm's then you're even better off.

Should I download a certain map until then or just plug the PCIIIusb in and run it like that with out downloading any maps? Or would it even make that much of a difference since I am not running it that much like that?

Or would it even make that much of a difference since I am not running it that much like that? That's what the PCIII is for, to map your bike correctly with aftermarket parts. The PCIII will do 100% nothing if you don't put any map on it. You put the wrong map like uhhh... turbo, nos etc... the bike probably won't run! But search the dynojet website for the modifications that you have, plug your usb from the PCIII into your computer, download it, then attach to the bike. The directions tell you how to do all that. It's free and makes the bike run better... I guess in total laymans terms... You put mods on their your bike is running 50% of it's potential You put a map on their for your mods you're running 75% You custom tune it to fine tune everything you're running 100% Obviously those percentages are far from the truth but it explains the differences a little better.

OK. Makes sense. Thats what I thought but wasn't sure. So one more question if you dont mind :lol....What if I dont find a map that has all the same mods as I have? Will a map that is a little different make that much of a difference? Since with the Devil not being as "popular" as you said?

If I was at my home computer I have all the 03 maps loaded but I can't here at work. You should be able to find something very similiar. EX: I have stacks, akrapovic slip-on, pcIII I couldn't find the slip on but I found the full system with stacks, and PCIII map. I called Dynojet and they said that when the tunning screen (you'll see it when you load your PCIII on your computer/laptop) go up to on the top end and that will comensate for the full system. Call them if you can't find exactly what you have and they should be able to fine tune it a little better for you. Search the forum for "custom maps" there is TONS of guys that go get custom maps done and post them in there for everyones use.

Cant seem to find shit for a Devil System with mods. :dunno being that you have the stacks (don't hold me to this) your bike will probably run very lean then. I would just not hook up the PCIII OR call dyno jet and they should be able to tell you what is Devil equivalent. They are pretty knowledgable of their product and what results the public wants.
