We were riding up to Stinson Beach, and we stopped for a second and my boys 2005 R1 wouldn't start back up. It cranks over, but won't start. We get an "11" on the screen where the Odomerter is. Any thoughts?

Please advise.

Hi, I looked the number up in the service manual and it read that it is the Cylinder Identification Sensor. The motor wont start but will drive. Alot of good that does if it doesnt start. Anyway the sensor is located on the top of the cylinder head cover, held in with one bolt. It looks like it could be replaces easily.
