ok the bike has been sitting for a few months. Had no oil in it for bout 1.5 months. Put new gas and went to fire her up and the starter sounds like its trying but no fire and now im getting the clicking from under the seat so i think thats a relay.
When I try to start it in gear with the clutch pulled all the way the entire bike jerks as if its still some how in gear a lil bit. Will this be the cause of the bike not starting and if so how do i fix it?
Please help thanks.

I had a problem like that a couple of months ago and it turned out that the battery just needed charging. I also had the clicking under the seat and took it to the dealer and of course they said it was the ECU and the starter relay. After reading the troubleshooting in the service manual it said to start by charging the battery and that fixed it. No problems since.

This is normal. Clutch plates will kinda stick together when sitting for a while. You have a few options.....1. Pull in clutch and rock bike back and forth until plates break free and then start bike. 2. Put it in neutral and start. 3. Pull in clutch and start bike with brake applied.

It is jerking with it in neutral.....lol thats the whole problem i even roll it it down the street trying to jump start it didnt work either. Will not having a speedo hooked up stop the bike from starting?

it will start weather speedo hooked up or not..doesn't effect it(but of course you won't see any error codes, if there is any)..and AGAIN, just make sure battery is good, you'd be supriced of how senstive these bikes to battery voltage...btw, what happens when you pull in the cluch and try and start it..? does it still jerk? if it does, adjust the tension on the cluch cable..maybe its not fully disengaging when you pull it in..good luck
