Setting the clock

Ok I know this sounds a little trivial but I do not have a manual for my 01 and I would like to set the clock. If you hold down the select button a clock appears but it is wrong and can not figure out how to set it. I also would like to know does it reset if the battery is disconnected or is it conected to the Odometer power that is not affectd by the battery. thanks for any help. I feel like a retard asking this by the way........:banghead:

I think you can set the clock by holding down both the reset and select buttons in clock mode. Then the clock should flash and you can set it by pressing one of the buttons and the other to move from minutes to hours.And no the clock is not connected to the odo so if you disconnect the battery you will have to reset the clock
