Full system - disconnect exup motor?Stiffer 03-24-2007, 03:54 PM Hi. William YZF-R1 03-25-2007, 03:40 AM Relacing the servo motor is the easiest fix, otherwise you need a little box of electronic trickery called "Sams Servo Sub" which plugs into the loom in place of the servo mtor which fools the ECU.
I think they are about $100 but where you buy them from I do not know.
EDIT: Here ya go:
The stock servomotor and associated cabling weigh 19 ounces. Sam's Servo Sub weighs less than 1 ounce, is solid state (all electronic) and thus has no moving parts to eventually wear out.
