Cooling Fan turn on temp??????

Ok I know my fan works, I am just wandering if my sensor is off or what. I live in Leesville La. and when I am out riding with other sportbikes when we come to a stop or get gas or somthing like that othe bikes have ther fans on. I usally run anywhere from 150 to 190 deg. I have sat and let her run in the garage before and the fan will come on at 220 and then shut off about 208. Is this normal. Because when I am riding my fan never comes on unless I am stuck in traffic. But other bike (most are newer) I can here theree fans on a stop signs. has anyone else experienced this as well or am I being a worry wort...... Thanks for any feed back.

That's perfect. On at 220 and off at 208 is exactly how the system is designed to work.

ok just was wandering why others were coming on don't know there temps but I figure it shouldn't be much high than mine. Thanks again.
