What oil filter is on the 07? Ive got K&N 204 fromt the last bike...should work right?

What oil filter is on the 07? Ive got K&N 204 fromt the last bike...should work right? Why not just use a Yamaha original. Cheaper than spit.

However, my dealer sold me 2 of the older ones so I'll let you know if I have any trouble. (For that matter, maybe you can tell me if YOU have any trouble!)

You are correct. The 07 R1 takes the KN-204 while previous versions took the KN-303.

i went to the dealer today and picked up a filter. then compared it to the 204 i had at the house...204 will work like you said :thumbup
