need haynes manual for 99 R1...sss r1 04-03-2007, 02:14 PM if anybody got it in pdf plz pm me , thanx ;) acmech 04-11-2007, 11:11 PM Don't waste your time with Hayes, they seem to cover the simple stuff but refer you to a qualified shop for most other jobs. Get the factory manual on cd. I got mine off of ebay. 99r1atx 04-13-2007, 07:53 PM this might work for your bike. I have an 99 as well and have been using it for everything
http://sports.racer.net/docs/yamaha_yzfr1_98_service_manual.pdf William YZF-R1 04-14-2007, 01:37 AM I also have the Yamaha Workshop manual, but I find the Haynes manual invaluable for the photographs. 99r1atx 04-14-2007, 08:10 AM ok, I can see that from using the haynes manual on previous projects sss r1 04-15-2007, 02:04 PM i got a problem with my 2nd gear , so i was thinking to fix that by myself , the yamaha manual aint helping much , so i was thinking maybe haynes will be better. 99r1atx 04-15-2007, 05:08 PM The haynes may have more photos to help. I just got done rebuilding the carbs because of my fuel leak using the yamaha pdf manual. Tool about 5 hours but finally got it done and man what a difference. If you are looking for a haynes manual I would either try ebay or amazon and you should be able to find one there. | |
