I need help installing my hyperpro steering damper on my 2000 R1. I don’t know where to bolt the mount. Basically I don’t have any instructions and have never done this before:dundun: http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b152/jjock/hyperpro.jpg

Did you ever get this squared away? If you're still hosed, I can help - just let me know.

It's hard to tell from your pic exactly what sort of contraption you have there - possibly some sort of frame/side mount bracket? I'm not sure how you'd go about mouting that, but if you get ahold of a top mount kit, it's a piece of cake. FWIW, I've attached the instructions that came with my RSC damper & top mounting kit. The whole job took about 20 minutes with the right tools & hardware. Best of luck!

it almost look to me like the pieces haven't been removed from the tree, like when you used to put models together. do you get this on? did you get something else? I highly recommend riding with a damper. The bike feels much more stable.
