shift doggs or clutch problem

i have a 2001 r1 and i have been having this problem since last season.When i am in 2 nd gear and only in 2 nd .I get the rpms up to about 8 to 9 grand it feels like the clutch is slipping then grabs again but i was reading this other artical and they said something about shift doggs now i tried looking up shift doggs to find out a little more about them but found nothing .So if someone could help out that would be great

If it was clutch it would happen in all gears. If it is only second gear it does unfortunately sound like gearbox problem.

Search for [2nd gear dogs] There is only one "g" in dogs. You will find plenty of threads on the subject using that search criteria.
