Hello all new to the R1 board I too have 07 throttle problems.
Come off my 2003 gsxr1000 and into my first Yamaha 07 red R1.
What a disappointment, yeah it is a beautiful bike with a lot of technology but dam whats wrong with the lag from 1k-5k the bike has nothing there.Called Yamaha yesterday after reading all the posts on this board and yeah to my disappointment the rep on the phone acted like he had never heard of such a thing on the 07.Made a claim anyway he told me take it to the dealer so that is where its going today thankfully I have a few close friends at this dealer and one of them told me that they would figure it out one way or another we will soon see.I explained to them not only does it suck to have this problem but its also dangerous.Well I guess its to be continued I am taking it down right now I will keep you all posted and look forward to riding with some of you in the So Cal area.
