Interesting story. After it's all said and done I bet we see the 1098 on the grid in WSBK for '08. I say all the Jap makers will still be there.

If I was Biaggi I'd be in no rush to get back to MotoGP, he looks happier and is racing as well as I've ever seen him...and I've been watching him a long time. As for this statement: Batta scored the coup of the off-season in coaxing Biaggi out of the wilderness into WSB for 2007 after he left Repsol Honda’s MotoGP team in acrimony at the end of 2005. I don't imagine that it took too mush coaxing to get Biaggi back onto a proven competitive bike in a team that had won a World championship just 2 seasons before... I for one hope he stays in WSBK.

IF the rule goes through for Ducati to run bigger displacement, I think there may be some teams against it that may leave, but after a while, they will probably be back or someone of the same level will replace them. When the one tire rule came around it caused AT LEAST as much drama as this move to bigger displacement. But you the Corona team came back.......I think it will be worked out.
