My first one worked perfectly for about 2 weeks until the known defect caused the transistor to fall off. Got the new one in and installed it. Doesn't work! I installed the new one the same and nothing...no lights. I then put a meter on the board (black and blue wires) and it is getting power. Any ideas? I am not an electrician by any stretch so after metering I am stumped.

Well I figured it out in case anyone else has this problem. CustomLED wired the wrong color wires to the board. They switched the blue and the black. Once I noticed this and switched the connections it worked like a champ. Figuring this out was a huge PITA!

Yep what you said plus them damned pinch connectors suck ya gotta be wicked careful how the wires are sitting inside of them or it doesn't cut the insulation and ya get the same prob you just described, just did mine today and thats exactly what I did wrong, the lil pinch fork inside the round orange connector pushed one of the wires to the side and didn't cut the insulation. Talk about gettin super crusty by the time I found it though----- LOL everybody was takin a wide berth around me. the only bad part of it though is now I gotta down in the woods behind the house and hunt for my 3/8 drive ratchet

the only bad part of it though is now I gotta down in the woods behind the house and hunt for my 3/8 drive ratchet :hammer: :lol :lol I still have to fish a screwdriver out of the drywall in the garage! This was some frustrating sh*t. I gave up on those connectors when the blue/black wires got to short on the inside of the rubber plug.

ainn't it fun ? my neighbor "SEA HAG"was especially pleased with me when I fired up the roto zip at 8:30 pm to do the #%@*(^ race baffles, I'm pretty sure my screwdriver landed pretty close to the ratchet shortly after my conversation with her LOL
