Minnesota riders wanted

Looking for some fellow R1 riders in the Minneapolis / St. Paul area to hunt down & :machinegu some unsuspecting gixxer & CBR babies & make them go :cryin home to mama. My calendar is open 24/7.

Come down to Wisconsin on the first Sunday of May for the Slimey Crud Rally. It's just west of Madison. a few thousand sport bikes won't scare you off will it?

I'll be there. Have you ever ridden on the flood run? There are 2 of them, one in the spring & one in the fall. They run down the river & everybody meets at a bar (I can't remember the name tho). They are usually really fun, but the majority of the riders are Harleys (the racers usually separate & make our own riding group).

:machinegu cocked and ready to go:D .. let's put on some snow tires and chains and go ride :lol I'm in Woodbury,MN Usually ride Fridays, Saturday and sometimes Sunday.. if you like to ride in big groups try SA gas station @394 and Victoria Fridays and Saturdays around 9-10 PM.. on a good day there are over 40 sportsbikes .. or Lake Calhoun before sundown .. although those same guys sometimes will end up at SA..

Slimey Crud Rally .. is that what it is .. I was staying at a hotel east of Milwaukee and there was bikers running around left and right .. see you there this year .. maybe it was a different event

if only i had a bike........oh wait.....i can ride my bicycle!! i can sprint up to almost 30mph well. when it starts to warm up and the ricers are starting to come out again, i'll be cruizing University Ave with my helmet and raced ready legs for some sprinting. :cool:

Hey, I also live in Forest Lake right across from the new High School. I have a buddy in Woodbury also that has a 2001 Blue R1 and a couple of other friends that own a Buell and F4i. We would all be more than happy to meet up with anyone or have other people tag along. One thing about the 394 runs, when I owned my 96 CBR600 F3 I did many a suicide run over to Anoka and other parts of town with those guys there, and at Tropics. After turning 30 and getting married I still love speed, like to wheelie, and goof off but not at the expense of someone else's life. I don't recommend riding with anyone over there if your looking to ride somewhat safely and responsibly. The guy I bought my R1 from after trading in my 2000 F4i used to ride out there, he told me all sorts of wonderful stories about guys running close and hitting the kill switches as a joke, and doing alot of other garbage. I myself can also attest to the antics, and although it's not everyone, it's enough people that can really F*CK many a thing up. Call me old, stupid, whatever you want. But I value my life and my friends lives too, and I plan on riding for many more years! Take it easy... Mark

We only go to hang out @ SA or Lake Calhoun .. and once in a while we'll tag along and head up to Forest Lake or Prescott ... I agree about those suicide runs .. if you decide to ride in a group w/ those guys out there be careful ... there is quite a few squids out there ... wait til the weather gets better I have a few friends in the area who wouldn't mind riding w/ a few responsible riders :thumbup my email is airborn_11@hotmail.com or just come post a message here on the forum

I too can't wait to take my R1 out again, it wasn't but 2 1/2 weeks ago I pulled the ole R1 out from underneath the cover, put the battery in, and started her up, of course the weather at the time was 50 degrees.:) Of course now we had more snow dumped on us shortly after.:bs I look forward to getting together with everyone to go out and go riding again!:thumbup Later...

Count me in! I'll get ahold of you soon & we can plan rides. Have you been to the AMA Superbike races in Brainerd? It's a riot! We are planning a roadtrip to the Elkhart Lake, WI races in June too. You guys are more than welcome to come along! I knew a guy from an old job that used to ride with the Tropics gang & he would always tell me how hitting other riders' kill switches was so much fun. He ended up wiping his bike out cutting in between 2 commercial trucks on the freeway & F*cking himself up pretty bad. What's worse is that he had a girl on the back & she got busted up everywhere, face and all. Nobody deserves that, but it was kind of expected.

You know I have never been up to Brainerd for AMA, I think that would be alot of fun! I have another buddy that lives in Woodbury and owns and R1 also, and we were talking about trailering the bikes and heading to Daytona for bike week this year, although that is still up in the air... Mark, the ride up to Brainerd is a lot of fun. We usually head out early Sat morning & come back on Mon morning (to avoid the a$$hole wanna-be racers). Brainerd used to be packed & a boat-load of fun, but the Colonel has turned things around. I would bet that w/in 2 years it will be shut down & turned into a golf course :mad: :mad: :mad: !!! Actually, he doesn't own the track, it's his WIFE! He is a twice convicted felon & can't own it. But anyway, last year at the race, I noticed townhomes already being built on the raceway grounds! Not to worry tho. There is word that a new track is being built in Sandstone (don't know if it will be just for NHRA or AMA as well). To answer your question, no, I don't ride with those guys that go to 'Za. I've seen them once or twice, but I don't know them. And BLove, I'll be over there for the Elkhart races on the weekend of June 7th. I ride with about 6 others all on Turbos (Hayabusa, ZX-11, etc - no R1s tho). They might have the turbos, but guess which bike all the girls flock to when we get there.... That's right, the R1!!!!!!!!!!!!! :boobies = :thumbup

Hi Guys, gimme a shout when your gonna go riding. I'm done with the SA crowd due to the death of one friend, brain damaged other friend, and the total lack of thinking with some of that group. Howz about we plan an "all R1" ride to the superbike races in Brainerd? Admission is $50. Usually a good time had by all... :beer + :beer + :beer + :beer = :ugh If not, I am willing to ride anywhere. im in st paul park, it would be nice too hook up with a few decent folks and go for a ride, maybe them i can practice my cornering some as i have only rode cruisers for the last ten years, corners are very very slow on cruisers

It all sounds good now make the snow go away I work out side for a living and this SUCKS! Flood runs on the 20th Right. Brained a Blast This will be my thrid year camp by the Bandstand. It's were it all goes down:beer :beer :thumbup

Liter Boy, try camping out inbetween turns 3 & 4. Security usually leaves us alone & we get pretty crazy. The Grandstand area is always too crowded. Always looking 4 new people to ride with.

We ended up down at that corner there was agreen tent put that was pretty fun. We also hope a ride on four wheeler full of women it was a good time:boobies

Hey Neal you live in the citties. I got a bud that rides a yellow superhawk in rush city area. I rode with a guy on hawk last year down by red wing. We took him with us we just had 600's but I think we suprised him a little:rock

I've got a buddy over in Medford that want me to go to Brainerd with him. I'll prolly make a weekend of that and skip Road America. As for the Slimey Crud Run...first Sundays in May and October, Pine Bluff, WI...Kitt's Corner Bar ...well, there's only room for one bar, the town is soooo small, Everyone rides to Leland, WI...population: 2 bars:thumbup rain or shine

V2Neal, Sorry to hear about your friends, that is not a good thing. I hope that their deaths were not due to riding with those crowds, if so that is very, very sad... Those people that ride in those crowds have no respect for anyone's life including their own.:no I look forward to hooking up with everyone this year, we should all plan a day once a week to meet up and ride. It would be fun to get an organized ride going with everyone. Sounds like alot of good interest, looking forward to it. Mark
