I bet it will be a decent streetbike but not a true supermoto. I still the the best supermotos are converted 4 stroke motocrossers.

They're working to get a decent motard it looks like. Been wanting one from Yamaha, but the stupid little XT225 wouldn't drag my ass except anywhere on a flat road.

Different applications IMO. The Graves motards are meant for racing. I was taking the discussion as meaning a motard for legal street use. Of which, then a WR would be better suited due to the setup it already has (lighting, speedo, better "everyday" gearing, etc).

that is the difference in the way we think...I consider a true supermoto a race ready machine, lol. that is why I got the yz450. And honestly it does quite well on the street. but probably not the greatest everyday ride though.

Agreed. A supermotard is a racing bike for non-street use legally. A motard would be a street setup, which a WR would be better suited for as I mentioned.
IMO, the bike pictured isn't intended to be a competetive racer if at all. It looks to be nothing more than a marketing ploy because of the motard craze. could be wrong though...
