Are there any instructions on how to install this on a 2007 R1? Thanks!

I put them on mine and I followed Wheatman's template in his How To for the Graves:

http://r1-forum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=188781

I ended up having to call Shogun Directly to figure out which slider went with each bracket since their instructions suck. You can contact Shogun directly at www.moto911.com (http://www.moto911.com). I took this from their webpage:

MOTO911.com
188 Technology Dr. Building D & E
Irvine, CA 92618
USA

Office: (949) 453-9111

I spoke with their tech and he was very helpful.

Good Luck!

"Shogun Frame Sliders"
Do the right side first. If the slider fits then it is the right one. If you put the wrong one on you will see that the adaptor hits the engine. They will only go on one way.
They are a tight fit for sure. Enjoy

I had this same problem like two weeks ago... had never done it before... it's not hard though... longer one goes on left side.. do one at a time, and they go on the upper motor mount...

I feel lazy right now but maybe this much will help. Install into motor mount holes using new bolts that came with the sliders. Don't tighten them all the way down at first, you need to be able to move them around to get the fairing back on, once the fairing is back in place and secure, slip a wrench behind the fairing and tighten the bolt. Remove the fairing and torque as required making sure that they don't move. Replace fairing. Check final fitment. See pics for more info.

Both his pics and instructions are better than mine were going to be. :secret:

Just FYI, I had shogun sliders on my 04 and one of the bolt broke for no reason. I would invest in R&G instead.

Just riding around "for no reason" or barely dropped "for no reason"?

So the longer offset goes to the left or right? By the way, thanks for your help drouge and bryhart.

Manowar, thanks for the heads up but until it happens to me I'll stick with Shogun.
