I got a Krank Vent on the R1 so I figured why not stick one on the 450 ? Didnt see a problem hooking it up to a crank catch can as it vents out the top of it.. Nice one way flow out of crankcase vapors.. Here is a post on SMJ - do you think this guy is correct ? http://www.supermotojunkie.com/showthread.php?p=302429&posted=1#post302429 http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v104/TL1000R/DSC00289Medium.jpg Here is a teaser pic of me new dash setup...:rock http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v104/TL1000R/WR/Good%20Pics/th_DSC00308.jpg (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v104/TL1000R/WR/Good%20Pics/DSC00308.jpg)

Ya, he's right. I tried a similar set-up last summer and blew my valve cover gasket on the track. Luckly, It was my last practice lap so I didnt go down, but I did lose about 1/2 a litre of oil.

Sounds like you installed it backwards. When it is working I can't imagine how it could build any pressure, let alone enough to blow out the valve cover gasket. FOZZ: You get your pipe back?
