Just -1 up front so far.....waiting to get custom map done on Monday. Then I will decide if I want to go +2 out back. :thumbup

-1 on the front provides PLENTY of grunt. Don't know why you would want to go +2 on the rear, just my opinion.

Heres my dilemma. I am going to do the 520 conversion for multiple reasons. I would go +3 in the rear and leave it at that. But I was just thinking this may not be enough later on. If I go +2 in the back now, I can always go -1 in the front later on much cheaper. I am just weighing my options.

I know a few forum members who have gone with the 520 -1/+2 route and absolutlely love it!! :fact

I am still weighing this decsion. Stock rario is 2.65. +1 +2=2.61 +1 +3=2.66 0 +2=2.76 0 +3=2.82 -1 +2=2.94 -1 +3=3.00 I don't want to much all at once, on the other hand I do not want not enough either. I am seriously thinking 0 +3, then put a couple thousand miles on. Then I will decide if it is enough. If not I can go -1 +3. What do you guys think?

I ended up going +3 in the back, kept the front the same. There is no way I would go -1, +3 now, can't believe I was even considering that back then. Not sure why your dealer said what he did, probably wants to sell you a more expensive rear sprocket instead of a cheaper front.

so what did the +3 do for you? did it get rid of the no low end power? and i heard they dont make a steel +3 for the back only alum... and does the front end come up for u eaiser?
