Does anyone know if a swingarm from a 5JJ model 2001 will fit straight onto a 1999 4xv model with out any changes/ modifications

I believe so. I think the travel on the 2000/2001 is like 500 nanometers shorter

if changing, how about upgrading to the 02-03 swinger? That will fit as long as you use the 99 rear brake holder.

Well you know each evolution year it's a little more stiffer in the right places and lighter in others... It also looks a little better with that swoop on the right side... :secret: :lol

i think the 99 is good enough.
