well heres my 04 WR 450. Nice. Are you keeping it SM all the time or are you switching back and forth to trail? If you do, do you switch the front brake?

well switching back & forth was my original plan but i think its gonna be to much hassle to mess with so im pretty sure its just street/track now.

Great job Dave - glad to see the project worked out for ya.. Got about an hour on mine today & it was off the chain :) First ride in like 6 months - STM & Wideband worked great, that clutch is smooth as butter on hard downshifts - no bike shake.. The Wideband gave me a clear 10.5 - 11.5 reading showing me im running a little lean.. Havent tried to record any runs yet cuz after the test run I inspected the STM to find some funny wear on the new spacer they sent :(

I wont know until a few weeks before - my lifes to hecktic.. lol well, I hope you can make it. two things to think about though...food money is due by tomorrow if you want to eat with us at night and also, the cabins and rooms are going to be sold out if you don't make a reservations soon. It will be cool though if you can make it...we have a good group of supermoto's going.

OMG!!!! i just ogt home & cant wait to go back! The motard is the sh!t on the dragon. Any of you guys that have them must bring them with you for the rally cause were gonna spend some time smoking all the others lol. Thats the most fun ive had in a looooong time.

hahahaha...thats what I thought, the gap was made for motards.:thumbup I got my oil seal all changed out. Just have to get everything all put back together, nothing big. Man I can't wait for the Gap trip. We are going to have a heck of a good motard pack too!!:rock

yeah slicks off road arent much fun but they sure are fun on the road lol. Theres supposed to be a gravel/dirt road that comes from fontana all the way out to 129 somewhere.I'll see if i can find the guy who told me about it & maybe we can give it a try. Im gonna try to get a few of the local SM guys that were there this weekend with us to come over & ride for a day or something during that week.

I rode on it last year on the dirtbike. The slicks are not all that bad on dirt actually, just have to be careful and lay off the front brake, lol, and steer with the rear a lot, haha
