just did the tranny , costed me 1500$ had to undercut all 6 gears...took the bike home , rode about 300-400 km and one of the walves failed :cryin :( :( i'm gonna fix it by myself this this time,so i was thinking, what kind of damage should i expect? also where's a good place online for buying the parts needed? also , any suggestions for mods ,like better springs, valves, cams or pistons etc... thanx. in the shop they told me that one of the valves is not closin , so probably piston damage also , right?

wow ur f'ed. if a valve isnt closing there could be all kinds of damage. Your going to need a complete tear down. No small order For $1500 you could have bought a used engine... that might be the best route.. But good luck with whatever you try

Hopefully its just a bent valve but could be a whole lot more By the way....why did you ride it 3-400km knowing that a valve isnt shutting?

Most of the time a valve not closing can make contact with the piston;in many case, the piston is salvageable but damage to the crank is a possibility. Now if its just not fully closing,it might just be a problem with the seat or the valve train components...gotta open it to know...also make sure they didnt disturbed the timing or some like that.
