Broken Rear Set 07 R1

Is this a trend for Yamaha? My right side Rearset cracked and I dont even do wheelies! Yamaha is going to replace it for me under warranty however is it going to be the same Crap that replaces it?? Anybody else have this problem that does not do wheelies? I posted in the other thread about the guy who broke his foot as well but is that the official thread for this problem? I am lost here as always.

That doesn't sound normal. how much do you wiegh? I've ridden the crap out of an 07 with stock rear set( including wheelie and a half day at the track) and didn't have any problems with them, except dragging them the whole time at the track.

They said we will take care of it. That should not be happening. Especially with your weight even if you do stand up wheelies.

Ya sounds like you just got a faulty one, or the PDI guys who built it did something wrong (it happens more than you want to know). once they replace it, it SHOULD be fine. good luck though.
