I need to know how to strap my front end down for when i go to the track..
and what i can do to my stock suspension to help me in the 1/4 mile???

I have an 02 R1; its very simple on this application;
You simply go to the bolts that secure the caliper, eother the top or nottom one;
i personally prefer the bottom bolt, so it ill be less stress on the caliper bracket, and all you need is a spacer or a few washers in order to space it out from resting on and scratching the fork bottoms,
If you go with the top bolts, i don't think you'll need any spacers at all, i noticed that "02starpped" guy here in the forum was running his straps on the top bolt, and seems that he's got a few runs under his belt, and sounds like he rode it on the street as well, i didn't hear of any problems, you may wanna contact him.
So basiclly we're lucky to have the 02/03 R1, because you won't need the radial calipers brackets that are extra $$$
Oh, and run the strap over the frame neck... right in front of the tank securing bolt.
