hey guys i have a 99 r1 that just sat over winter then i moved so it still just sat so it hasnt started since november now i put a new battery in it and now wen i push the starter butten it doesnt do anything, i have power, fuel pump goes on, box under seat clicks wen i turn the key on, if i take a screwdriver 2 jump the starter sylinoid it turns over but still no firing any1 have a clue y it wont turn over wen i press the starter button or start i've been workin on it all day thanx greg

check your spark plugs. that could be a reason why its not turning over, and also the spark plug wires.

Nah, my pump doesn't run when my kill switch is on.

make sure your battery is fully charged
then check the reg/rectifier

i am sooo guilty of not making sure it is in nuetral lol. ooops
