Ocala Supermoto

Today I went to the Supermoto track here in Ocala and shot a few pics. Makes me want to buy a YZ and go out there and have some fun, and at $35 for an open trackday, I could get used to it.

Thats all that the Winter Am series is, Gatorback, Hardrock, Reddick and Dade city, with Gatorback and Dade City holding two rounds. Gatorback is a old AMA National track, and were the Mini Olympics are held, Dade City is a loamy track that they do Sat night races, but for AMA series they open up the back half of the track which is sandy and adds about a minute to the lap times. Reddick is a ok but very man made track, Hardrock is a fun track but the ground is so hard it gets blue from tire spin.....that track is where I broke my wrist and cost me my last shot at a 30+ title back in 2000

I have thought about it, but I have had to pay a little over 20k in taxes in the last 2 months that I wasnt preparred for, its really put a dampner on buying play toys

Global Warming isnt really happening that fast:lol :lol :lol Actually, we're talking about moving out of state once our son graduates from high school. If we do, we're most likely going to move out to SoCal for a couple of years to be near my step-mom's family. Year round riding there, and not on ice in the winter.

I'm trying to talk her into going to Jennings, and if so maybe talk her into some trail riding the week before. :riding

Two words for you....JawJa I'd definately consider it, and being a self-employed computer nerd I can move pretty much anywhere I want. ;) SoCal will have to come first though due to my step-mom's family being out there. But, GA is a definite consideration in time. Let us know what your plans are, we'll do a little trail riding with ya..:thumbup Will do, it's all still in the works and I need to convince her to go with. She's not an MX'er, but she enjoys trail riding. She has been on a private track and liked that because she felt she wasn't being pushed by anyone such as if we were to go to a regular track. If we do go to GA before Jennings, we're looking to stay in the Ellijay area unless we're told of a better place and we do trail riding.

Where is the track at Aron ? That's pretty cool! Its by the flea market off I-75/ SR27 by the old Mark III plant. They liked my pictures and invited me back to take more for them!
