IMO the racing will remain close but the bikes will be in a more similar state of tune. When you have 3-4 manufacturers battling for the top spot, it makes a hell of a race. Well... the twins have maintained a couple hundred ccs difference in displacement for years over the I4s. So it's racing as usual. But it raises the bar, which can only be good things for the consumer.
