Many thanks to all you riders. This year's convention was one incredible sight after another. After seeing so much awesome stuff, amazing riders, and rad bikes on a beautiful road with many good friends, I like to kick back with a few choice photos, remember the good times, and look forward to next year's adventure. What's up with our DVD's Laura!?!? :p

Hey guys! I am waiting on an ink cartridge to arrive tomorrow, Thursday...I was able to do a small mailing of the DVD's but as it is a 3 disc set, I ran out of the ink used to print the photos on the cover. I'm SO sorry to keep you waiting, but they look really sweet and I hope you'll find it was worth it. I spent a great deal of time editing the pictures and burning the DVD's itself...120 of them!...takes a minute. I also spent time during the first week getting Elvis's photos together for his family...So, I will post up more teasers in the coming days and mail the remaining DVD's asap. I'm doing everything I can to speed the process. After all, the riders at the convention were SO FAST, and SO CLEAN...their DVD's should be, too. Thanks for your patience. :thumbup Later today I will post a confirmed mailing list...and I still need addresses from a few riders. snapz

If that doesn't work for you, I can also burn them to a Universal Disc Format. Don't panic--Priority Mail only takes two days to arrive. Ok, obviously we are having some technical issues. Man, I hope I don't get fired:scared No, but really... The problems vary: some discs are entirely inaccessible, some work but lack certain photos, and some work only in certain computers. These problems could stem from a variety of sources...Man, I feel like I'm trying to fix a motorcycle or something, lol... My computer is a Mac OSX. But the discs are burned seperately to an ISO-9660 format (recommended for PC's). There is also an ISO-9660IXA format that I will investigate. Certain discs or files could be corrupt, but with so many having the same problem, on different files, I suspect the machinery; or a big combination of all the above. (My older Mac G4 allowed me to burn to a Universal Disc Format; this one does not.) Whatever the case, I am going to experiment tomorrow and come up with a bulletproof disc that will mail 5 July, when the P.O. opens again. I have spoken to most of you about what files you lack, but if anyone else needs new discs, PM me. Honestly? Gremlins snuck into my house and vandalized the discs with their bad mojo...I have pictures! :gengar:

The pics are awesome! Only had a problem or two, but the pics are saweeeet! I got a kick out of this one (although I managed to stay out of your lens most of the week... you caught me and Yamadogfj1200 here). Bruised shin - only small bruise left Middle Finger - healed over, still healing, but in good shape. Index Finger - almost healed over, still not 100% full range of motion yet, but getting better. Thumb - muscles/tendons still stiff. I still haven't ridden one bit since the trip, but mainly because of the weather and the fact that we've been incredibly busy the last few weeks. Thanks again Laura for the awesome DVD's. I'm sure the problem people are having is just the finicky nature with DVD's burned on a mac. they wouldn't read on my laptop but worked fine on my work PC. Go figure. I feel like we got such a bargain with Laura and the DVDs this year. Man, the 3-set deal is worth TWICE as much as what she charged. Unreal.
