#2 & #3 on the dragonice750 07-13-2007, 08:43 PM would be the fatality count now on the dragon for the year. the gap was closed for around 4 hours tonight after a very bad messy wreck.
a gold wing trike was northbound and hit a southbound truck pulling a boat. the trike hit the boat trailer hard enough to knock it up off and out of it's trailer. the 2 on the trike were lodged up and under the boat trailer.

From the pictures it looked like a damn bad wreck. When I first read that a trailer was involved I thought the trailer must have been in the opposite lane. Thats how it usually happens. Paint it bright orange and write a warning on it for semi's that the road ahead is full of bikers and sharp corners and they should turn around. I feel sad for ALL the families involved including the persons towing the boat, it must have been a hell of a shock for them too.
