Hi all,

I've just changed my headlight (not the high beam) from the stock ones to bluevision H7. It's much brighter and has a whitish/bluish tint also. (looks good). Just wanted to know if this has any effect on the battery. Will it drain more power than the stock ones?

I suppose the battery gets charged as your riding anyway right? I won't have to buy a new battery in 6months time because of the 2 new bulbs will I?

thanks for any comments.
cheers,.

your correct with the fact that the battery does get charged while your riding, if all is working correctly that is... as far as more draw from the h7 im not to sure about that... if there is, i wouldnt think that it would be much. i dont think there is anything to worry about imo.

they draw a lot less power after they are running..... when they originally fire up though the draw more..... thats why it is recommended to install a switch on your lights with the hids.... you can turn them on after the bike is running instead of trying to fire up the ballasts while the bike is starting.... wheatman has a very simple switch method through the fuse box in the how to section.... use the search to find it...
