I bought this kit from Spiegler USA. The kit came complete with upper triple tree, risers, aluminum motocross style bars, stainless steel front brake lines, extended clutch cable and good instructions. The installation was pretty easy with the hardest part being the removal of the stock ignition lock. I had to trim a little off of the fairing..about 2 inches and then shape the windshield to match to clear the bars. Since then I have figured you could block up the fairing between the mirror mounts and the fairing to clear...maybe without any cutting. The customer service when ordering and when calling again about an installation question was great. Quality of the kit and machine work on the parts is great. The riding postion and comfort is outstanding. I use my bike for touring but it would make a killer set up for stunting. Any questions about the set up...drop me a PM.

If you didn't want a sportbike, why did you buy the R1 in the first place? Why not buy a standard if that is the riding position you like?? Scott

Because I love the R1...handlebars don't change what makes the R1 special. You can still hang off and corner just as hard...I've never seen anyone drag their handlebars yet when cornering. Stretched out and behind the screen the bars really don't offer any frontal area drag that would slow you down. Then when I want to I can sit up and ride 600 plus mile days back to back with no problem. If I wanted a track bike that would be another matter........
