To get the ball rolling I propose a definite Squad meet at the Ally Pally show in January for a right old piss-up and an ogle at bikes and thing's we can't possibly afford, but hopefully a few of us will be able to meet for a pint first (I know we are all busy men and the weather is very anti bike at the moment). I will get the patches done ASAP and will hand them out when I see you. Any more for Any more?...Don't be shy!!

Reapers, Still waiting for MCN to announce the dates of the Superbike show, so when they do we decide on the day to meet up. I think the first friday would be a good one (normally starts on a thursday) so we have the weekend to sleep of the Larger. :) I'll keep everyone PM'd on the dates. SATAN

Just heard a report on NPR this morning about London's traffic woes. They summed things up by saying that the infrastructure of your little burg was originally laid down by the Romans, who did not account for traffic conditions of the modern day. The story made things sound really bad. They were saying that 'radical' measures were being recommended, like making people work from home (boo hoo, I would just HATE that). Maybe you should just pass a law getting every single resident out of their cars and onto motorcycles.

IMHO, I don't think London's traffic issues are any different than any other major city. Too many people (in cars) :>) Advantages to London traffic (and the congestion charge) 1. Bikes go free (no charge) 2. Bikes can use (some of) the buslanes 3. Bikes can park for free (and in some "protected NCP car parks") 4. In the UK we can filter and not get "nicked" by Police

Simply because the cameras for the charging system face forward (like the Specs speed cameras). We are the answer to conjestion and the Policitians pretend to agree with this but in reality they can't charge us so won't, and if they did somehow in the future, then it would make a mockery of the the whole conjestion charge theory (not that would stop em of course). Apparantly traffic has already dropped 25%, although the real test is next week when the kids are back at school - make the fat phuckers walk I say!!!!
