Does it have backup battery function? I'm looking for an alarm system for insurance purpose. I have to install 3-point alarm system to get the fire and theft protection, which is weird. 3-point system: ignition immobilizer - 06 R1 has it already motion detection backup battery. Gorilla alarm is reasonable price, just for basic alarm functions. I couldn't find it out that it has backup battery or not. Don't wanna spend big bucks to install fancy alarm system.

I went out and spent a few extra bucks and got the Scorpio SR-i500 alarm and I have never regretted it at all. The two-way alarm is worth every penny. Peace of mind that the system will let me know as soon as someone is standing too close and won't walk away, or if they actually have the nerve to sit on it....plus you can set the alarm on silent so when they sit on the bike the alarm tells you and not them, so you can go outside and "chat" with them about the "choices" they've made.
