T0DD 12-14-2002, 08:43 PM The Seattle Bike Show! NW Squadron R1-011 Had a great time. Looked at a lot of bikes and JoeMt and I met up with Rated R and No_6. Rumors were Tidbit and AdamGeek were running around but I never saw them? Here's the 1st of 4 photos I am going to post ! T0DD 12-14-2002, 08:47 PM When Joe and I got there we opted to park in the garage area attached to the exhibition center. Parking was pretty full. We managed to squeeze into a spot and I am seriously talking about SQUEEZING into this spot! We had to exit through a side sliding door! T0DD 12-14-2002, 08:52 PM As the day went on (Rated R, No_6, JoeMt and myself) we laughed, we cried, we shared stories. Rated R retold us the story of when his bike was stolen. We fixed that though. Dark Rated R 12-15-2002, 10:28 PM The show was awesome and who would have thunk that Joe and I would be able to push that black/red R1 out the door and down the street two blocks before we were tackled by security. Maybe next time... The show was sweet even the gay gixxer looked OK under the bright lights and two coats of fresh wax, definately worth the $8.00 admission. At least those guys have a good sense of humor about it. I do have to admit that the G1K doesn't look that horrible. The LED tailight is pretty cool in person, and at least the graphics don't look mid-eighties any more. Good hooking up with all you guys. That Benelli Tornado is one of my favorite bikes to look at of all time. Don't know how you'd get rid of that massive mudflap, though. Gotta love those dagger-thin rear turn signals.
