Not that I'm looking to put any exhaust on my bike, but I was approached by a sales rep for Jardine if I wanted to test out their exhaust for a few weeks and provide feedback to him. I have limited knowledge of them, but in looks, it's almost like a Yosh pipe.
Any thoughts, opinions on what the pipes are like? They meet 99db sound levels, but many trail rides are now required to be below 96db. While it's rare that I do/would ride trails, I know some tracks locally that are starting to get heat from sound levels from exhaust. If I were to go with an aftermarket exhaust, I'd look at the FMF Q4 which reportedly does 93db and has a spark arrestor in it while still improving performance.
I honestly have no complaints about the stock exhaust on either of the YZ's. I'm going to open the can on the TT-R125 a bit and do some minor work to it to help the lack of power.
I was just curious if it was worth it to try the Jardine pipe next season and provide a review? This season is almost done, and while I plan to occasionally ride an indoor track, I don't think I'm going to do enough in the three weeks he's asking for.
