2008 Convention Food and T-shirt PAID LIST

PLEASE VOTE IN THE POLL AS TO WHAT DAY YOU ARE ARRIVING This year is going to be pretty much the same as last year. The cost for the nightly meals is going to be $100 per person for the Week. If you use Paypal add $5 to whatever you are sending. I am also going to take up money for T-shirts here as well. Those are going to be $20 per shirt. What do you get for that? A full course meal each night you are there, including salads, desserts and drinks (non alchoholic) delivered to us each night on Shuckstack Road with Tables and chairs set up and clean up each night. And on Thursday night we are going to have the houseboat rented for us on Fontana Lake with transportation over to the lake from Shuckstack Road and back!!!!! ***There is a chance we will do something different than the houseboats for 08, that will be discussed later, no matter what we do it will be promised to be equally as good if not better! Ok.....Here is the plan as of right now!! :fact I am joining NESBA and I am planning on getting some track time in this year!!! :fact So the weekend of the June 14th/15th I am gonna shoot for doing a track day at Putnam then head on down to the Gap. :thumbup I will probably be coming from Putnam with another rider and we will be leaving on Thursday to get back home. (Some will think this is sad and others may be glad to get rid of me by then! :lol ) Since we are not gonna be there for the houseboat we will take care of feeding ourselves for the few nights we are there. :thumbup

Damn Brian. That bites. Really hate to hear this. :( I wouldn't jump right into the track day thing. Just try one then decide if you like it or not. To be honest, track days in the Summer are tough with the heat. Just try the one at Putnam then maybe do a few more later in the Fall. I really hate to see you leave the Convention Thursday morning and miss out on a lot of things. It won't be the same without you all week. Hope you reconsider.

hey guys, let's hear some ideas for dinners each night. What was good and what do you guys not want this year??? I want to try and make sure everyone has good food every night.

I never got to tell ya Chad, I was very impressed with the food last year. Different choices every night and plenty of it. Not a lot of help here since I don't have any new suggestions but maybe it lets you know ya done mighty good last year. The only thing I can think of is maybe more "green" stuff. Ya know, like snap beans, leafy greens,,, things like that that aren't in a casserole but by themselves. I vote liver and onions one night. No,,,,,,, really! :fact :lol

Southern Fried Chicken, Fried Okra, Fried Green Tomatoes, Cornbread and fresh brewed SWEET TEA!!! Damn I miss living in Georgia. Uncle Ned's Awesome Porkchops!!! Detroit Style CONEY DOGS with extra onions and chili-n-cheese fries. KWComp will know what I mean by this. :lol Chicago Style Deep Dish PIZZA!!! Everyone loves pizza... well at least I do. Philly Cheese Steaks Sweet & Sour Chicken with fried rice. Lasagna with 4 cheese meat sauce. Skyline Chili - Spagetti with Chili on top. Grilled Chicken & Broccoli Fettucini Alfredo (YES, I love Italian food)

I was just trying to come up with other ideas. No offense to Randy... but I'm pretty sure 95% of the members coming to the convention won't mind eating what I listed. I hate tomatos as well, but only when they are ripe and raw. I can't stand the acidic taste of tomatos. Cooked tomatos taste totally different in my opinion.
