This contest is for 2 THURSDAYS Thursday: Nov. 15, 2007 / Thursday: Nov. 22, 2007 RULES: Post your bikes and GIRLS pictures! Post your *NEW* images with a sign that says R1-forum.com in the picture, no photoshop and all images must be new and owners give consent to the forums to have posted here. Post work safe photos as many as you like but only one post per entry. Include links, pictures and info only. Remember only ONE (1) post per member in this contest (you can sign up for other days also), you must reply to THIS thread only. You are encouraged to post up images and stories. The better the presentation the better shot at WINNING! Each post will allow 10 attatchments and you can also use outside image hosting to put up more if needed (but only 1 image is required to enter). You can choose 520 or 530 applications and if another brand bike wins we'll make the adjustments in the sprocket type. Well, it looks like someone needs to get us started. This is my wife, the love of my life, and mother of our 3 children (ages 18, 17, 15). We have been together for around 20 years. The 2000 R1 in some of the pictures is hers, and ironically enough she can use a new chain and sprockets, for her bike, so I convinced her to shoot these photos and to see how she does. She is an amateur photographer and it took awhile to convince her to be the subject and not the photographer. This impromtu photo shoot showed me that I am no photographer (shadows, lighting, frame, pic size, etc. etc. etc). I also never realized how easy it is to take 200+ pics in the matter of a couple of hours. Then of course picking only 10 was no easy task. There is a paper sign in each pic that says www.r1-forum.com (http://www.r1-forum.com). Because of the lighting it is hard to read in some of the pics, but it is there. Enjoy! heres my entry. backstory: i told my g/f about this and she said she would pose for me. well it came time and she didnt want to. im not going to force her to do that (even though shes freakin hot and im a shrek lookin guy. lol) so desperate times called for desperate measures.likes spidermanss said to do, im wingin it. i bought my bike in july and it needed some major tlc. its slowly getting there. but the chain and sprockets are shot. the chain is rusty, even after lubing it and cleaning it like crazy. so im in major need of new ones...anyways. here we go....im bringin sexy back

OK...... here are pictures of my "girl".... this is my 9 year old daughter, Maddie. She just went for her very first ride with me a couple of weeks ago. After the ride she said she liked it so much she wanted to get an R1 when she was bigger, but would "settle" for an R6 if she had to. I'm a bit biased, but she may just be the most adorable little girl in the world. Mike

Thanks K :bow The majority of the plaques and trophies in the pics are from motorcycles i.e. MX, Quad MX, stunting on the 50cc's etc. They are from the 3 kids and myself, (mostly them) including several series overall winners at the state level. One of my favorites is a win with the daughter in a FL Trail Riders MX QUAD Series as a 6 and 7 year old in an under 13 year old class :) That is the heavily modded Suzuki LT80 (now a 110cc) that she won it on in the backround of some of the pics. She is 15 now and we still have the quad. I think I finally found someone to pass it on to, although it is a boy and he needs to pass a couple more Bdays before he can handle it :lol The other side of the garage (not really pictured) and the medals are from the boys wrestling wins, their state weightlifing wins and records, their golden gloves boxing title medals, football trophies, personal awards, and championships, baseball trophies, girls flag football trophies and championships, cheerleading trophies, and numerous appreciation plaques for the wife and I for coaching and sponsorship. Can you tell I live vicariously through my kids :flex: :lol I do have a blessed life and I am very thankful for it, but understand it takes HARD work, commitment, and it does come with it's own set of problems, and obstacles. Any suggestions? I'm attaching a .jpg file through the additional options, attach files, but no luck. how do you attach a thumbnail. click "go advanced" under the reply box. Make sure all pics are 800X600 or less. On the new screen, click manage attachments. A new window will pop up. If it does not, shut off your pop up blocker. Once you are at the new pop up window, you can browse and select up to 5 picture to upload. After selecting the images, one for each box, press upload images. You will see the images on the original reply screen after a sucessful upload. Since the contest allows you to print as many as 10 pics, repeat the upload process if you want to add more than the first 5 pics. Close the pop up window and click submit reply from the original replay sceen. If it seems complicated, it really isn't, you'll see :yesnod
