Haven't used anything outside 55. 70 is wild though. Must have lots of surface area cranked over. Using a side stand ? Bike is sure to fall over with the 70 - rear stand mandatory. It will change the geomotry of the bike and affect your suspension setup.
Keep us posted if you get to use it please.

I run a 180.......but the 195/70 slick is a great tire. I doubt the bike will fall over on the side stand with one on the rear :lol
you'll have to reajust lots of things on the bike... not that fun but bigger tires will definitly help you ..

i went to a 190/60 on my o4 r1 and it is a pain in the arse!!! there is alot of suspension tunning u will have to do and possible increase ur wheel base!! u may have to settle it down by adjusting sag numbers as well! if u have any ? or need help i can at least get u in the right direction! also if ur is the 06 or 07 ur off to a better start because the swingarm on those models are 20mm longer then the 04 and 05 model!!

this is the 08 model mate. i have 2 of them one for the road and the other will be for the track. as i said earlier i took the road one to the track for about a dozen laps on the pilot race and it flat out destroyed them but it was a very hot day. but i was curious more so to the benifits or lack there of for using this profile slick
