i'm a fan of the Metzler M3.

Very subjective. IMO, Diablo Corsa IIIs and the Super Diablo Corsas are the premiere tires of choice, especially for TDs.

Have ran 2 sets of Pilot Powers... looking to try the Pirelli Corsa 3s next.

I don't like the Corsa III, they wore out after just 2400 miles on them, they also have a very slow turn in..... I would not buy them again. The Conti Sport attack, and the Pilot power have very similar profiles. They are the best tires that I ran on my bikes... I've try them all out there. I would also say that the M3 would be the third one on my list. Just my 2 cent.

I'm a Pilot Power guy. I'm on my 6th set. I would like to try the new Dunlops but the PP's are so good its hard to order anything else.

On my second set of PP's (and I never run the same tires twice....these have just been that good for grip and mileage).

Oh boy. I can see this may turn into another tire war thread. :lol I've ran about all the brands out there. My choice is the Bridgestone BT-002RS. Great on the track and awesome for very hard street riding. Although, they will not last as long as the others due to them being sticky. For good all around riding on the street with some hard curves thrown in and great mileage wear the Pilot Powers are great.

Pirelli Corsa Diablo III - All I am buying

High speed corner entry and braking, stick like crazy, good thread life, good in wet. They have a funky smell too if you fry them :rock

I found the entry of the Corsa III briliant, especially while trail braking. It tolerates the lateral forces well. It might be that your running to a low pressure.

We work on Bar, I run 290-300 Bar rear and 250 Bar front.

I can't comment on mileage though, I don't keep track, if it's worn I replace it but for me it lasts quite long.

I was thinking the same thing. I just got the Corsa III's and I think i was running around 36 on the street, it felt kind of slow but stuck well. I then bumped up the PSI a little bit and it turns in a lot faster and still sticks very well.

I had the same in the beginning, just thought I needed to get use to the bike. I upped the pressure a bit and since then, no hassles. I think due to the nature of the dual-compound of the Corsa III it needs to be inflated optimum pressure to counteract the lateral forces on it exerted with quick corner entry.

Last couple of TDs I ran them at 31psi front, and 30psi rear. They stuck like gorrilla glue.

I will give those figures a go !!!

I run 40 on rear and on the front I run 36. You don't need to run them any lower.

I liked the Pirelli's more than the PP and currently have a set of Pirelli Corsa III's on but no miles yet due to weather. :(

I've said this in other threads and I still believe it to be true. Picking a tire is like picking a dance partner (tire) ......... it really depends on the type of dancing (riding) your doing. :fact

then again, you can NEVER go wrong with Dunlop. :fact

I hear you....

I just like tire that gives me a fast turn in. I also had the the 2ct on as well, and I like them much better than the Corsa III. When I look for a tire for, It needs to have fast turn in, and last at least 4000 mile on them. Which I found to be right now PP, or the 2ct, and the Conti Sport Attack. ( I go with the Conti Sport because they have every thing I need and as well as the price. I get 120/70 190/55 at my door for 230 dollars... I ride allot on the weekends doing 500 mile on a day. I go througt around 3 set's of tire a year. I ride my bike from Wash DC, to Deals gap every year... I take all back road's, this past year I rode 723 mile's to get down. I road down on the Corsa III for a five day trip down there. I will never run the Corsa III again. They are not the right dance partner (tire) for me.
