Gregg's Customs 12-06-2007, 03:04 PM Hey All,
Here's an R1 I just put together with my new 240 Side-Arm kit. This kit is now available for all years 'Busa, '05 and up GSXR-1000, '04-'07 CBR 1000rr and the '04-'06 R1. I'll have it available for the '07-'08 R1 in January. It's available in 2,4 and 6 inch extensions. This bike has a 2" stretch. You can order from McCoy Motorsports. www.tobefast.com (http://www.tobefast.com). You'll have to call or e-mail to inquire about the kit. This is new to the market. Be the first in your area to have it. It's designed to work with P.M., R.C. or Cyko wheels. They are available in any finish.
Let me know what you think.

Gregg's Customs 01-04-2008, 06:19 PM I'm assuming that you want to stick with the stock size 17 x 6" wheel in the rear. Tobefast might have one of those arms in stock. Check with them or hit me up at the shop. 408-470-4770.

JohnnyRoastBeef 01-22-2008, 10:09 PM I cannot send Gregg's Custom's a pm so I am gonna be asking in the thread...
I wanted to know if you can do a stock length with stock rear tire size single sided arm with any of the spinning wheels offered by those manufacturers?
I want to get wheels, and in turn do a single sided arm... But I do not want any of that drag bike set-up stuff...
Also I assume this will work but not positve... Will the ohlins rear shock work with the single sided arm?
Edit: I thought I had found one of the other companys besides rc that make spinning wheels... Am I just delirious and sleep deprived?...?...?
cyclepsycho7 01-22-2008, 10:19 PM that would look very nice. :fact
Agreed, I wonder if the bike handles as well though?
JohnnyRoastBeef 01-22-2008, 10:23 PM Agreed, I wonder if the bike handles as well though?
I would be concered with that as well. But I assume if you went with stock sizing and tire sizing you wouldn't have any issues....

I have PM rims on my custom roadstar, great design and quality.

complete stock geometry (stock swingarm length/stock tire size) is available. aftermarket shocks will work.
I would be concered with that as well. But I assume if you went with stock sizing and tire sizing you wouldn't have any issues....
swingarms with stock geometry will not negatively affect handling
ive had one of gregg's arms for a while now. the only change in geometry is going from a 5.5 to 6 inch rear ( R6 ) no complaints, handling is solid - maybe even better than before in my case due to increased contact patch.
also, chain adjustments are a breeze now. quick turn of the eccentric hub, tighten hub carrier-done. and the rear is always 100% straight
motox666 10-28-2009, 04:16 PM How much?
