Yes, Canada. How about this: http://www.pacificpalisadeshotel.com/ ?? Its ok, nothing fancy at all. A place to sleep. Located right between shopping and residential area but not too far from the business area. I wouln't stay there but if you want cheap its fine.

Check out: The Hampton Inn and Suites by Hilton in Downtown Vancouver . http://www.hamptoninnvancouver.com/ For $130-$160 range, close to business district and Yaletown for restaurants and bars. Its across from the BC Place Dome. A step up from Pacific Pallisades. The nice places are $250 plus range.

Okay, I checked the site. They have me at $159-$189 CAD for a room I want. (Pacific Palisades has me at $122 CAD). BTW, I have stayed at Hampton Inns in the US and they are very nice, but nothing special. What would you suggest if I wanted a step or two better in quality? Say $225-$250 CAD? Step up: http://www.sheratonvancouver.com/ Wall Center - New, large suites business oriented, great view if high enough. I would pick this one. http://www.westinbayshore.com/ Close to Stanley Park, older smaller suites, great views if higher and on the right side, next to waterfront. Slightly further from downtown business core. Howard Hughes lived there on the top floor for a year. Check about construction nearby for noise. http://www.starwoodhotels.com/westin/property/overview/index.html?propertyID=1148 Westin Grand , Very central location, no views.

Hi buddy, I had visited Madrid last year for the same purpose. At that time my friend had suggested me a website for European countries called www.sletoh.com .It?s really a very good online resource. It will help you to compare hotel prices and rates in an instant. You can find hotels according to your budget and requirements. Hope this will work out for you. Happy journey in advance!
