99' r1 with 02 motor swap

Well everyone said that you can't put a 02 motor in a 99 frame...well I did and have just shy of 3k miles on it. The fuel injection and weight difference make it well worth it and I actually saved a few hundred dollars from replacing my tranny in the 99 motor. So with the extra money I painted it and polished up the frame. Although the pictures don't show the depth of the paint, its metallic fire mist orange, let me know what you think. All the work I did myself in my garage.

Go with a dark smoke windshield...will look much better and match the black and orange theme throughout the rest of the bike, nice job bud.
