I destroyed mine at the last track day. The axle spun while I was trying to remove the nut and ruined the retaining side. Anyone else have this happen and have them replaced or money refunded?

Kevap 02-26-2008, 08:44 PM Sounds like you are the only one to do this! :dunno JPWarrior 02-29-2008, 07:17 AM I'm suprised. Apparantly the early design had a flaw and was causing people to strip their axle nut and break the adjuster. All is good now, I contacted Gilles tooling and they are replacing the broken part with a newer design piece and sending the spacer that was missing in the original kit.
Still cost me the price of an axle though, but at least I'll still have the adjusters. JPWarrior 03-04-2008, 05:01 PM If anyone is actually reading this...
Gilles replaced the part and sent the spacer as promised. Besides the the difference in degree markings from my old set to the replacement part, I'm pretty pleased with the service. | |
