Hey guys, we're planing on having a good year end ride this Sunday12/29.02. There should be quite a few R1's out there. A couple guys who arent on this forum. We're meeting up at the Flying J off I-75 and S.R. 52 at 9:30/9:45. If your coming from the Lakeland Orlando area there is another group meeting up at the Harley shop off I-4 in Lakeland (I think) at 8:30 to meet up with us. We're expecting to be 30-50 bikes deep, with the ONES leading ofcourse. First we're going to ride the twisties of Brooksville then end up in the afternoon at the lakeland drag strip for some stunnting action. The drag strip is all ours. It's open to only bikes (Free!! like every sunday). I'm hoping to see some forum members out there.

Hey, Bayhead road up in Brookville is where I packed in my R1. I love that road.

We used to always meet at the Flying J on Saturday mornings. It seems the cops aren't so plentiful on Saturdays in that area.

BayHead is a nice fast road. I like Istachata and Trails end. Ozello is pretty nice too. I live for sundays. I'm not talking about church either.

Are you thinking about Hayman (sp?) with the five long, very fast sweepers? (I always use the third one to see how I'm riding that day, I think the fastest I've done around the apex of that one was 116mph) Bayhead is the road with the hills and tight turns.

By the way Dogbone, I was just talking to a guy that knows you. He said you work at RTM. Is that true? I bought my R1 from those guys. Kind of got F*cked on that deal. I'll tell you about it sometime.

Yeah, I work up at RTM. I do parts. If you need parts I'll get you the hook-up. I'd like to know what happend with your R1 though.
