From: http://www.motorcycleguard.com/ Everybody should get one......dont wait for a rock to puncture your rad! They are well made, they look good, the motor doesnt run hotter at all. Just riding your bike will flatten the rad bottom fins in no time with the smallest of debris...this will make the motor run hotter, and for the price (around $65) you cant go without one. tried, tested and trued.

I just put mine on 2/1/03 and it was easy EXCEPT for I had to cut some plastic on the fairing behind the wheel to clear the guard mount. But I'm glad I got it.

are these similar to the ones offered by Tobe Fast? I see they offer a Cox's for $53.95- but only in blue or silver (i'd like to have black- no big deal though). Never used one but always wish i did after seeing the radiator gettin all nicked and dinged. Better late than never

FATAL I'm making mine at Home Depot for fifty cents. Hey, this would be a great "how to" addition to the forum... Take lots of before and after pictures so we can see the process.... I am thinking about making my own also...
