I want to try Amsoil in my 04 R1 this spring. Is Amsoil 10/40 MCF Advanced Synthetic Motorcycle Oil the right oil to use? Does Amsoil make a filter? Where is the best place to purchase Amsoil locally? Thanks

Where is the best place to purchase Amsoil locally? Thanks I use 10w40 Red cap myself, seams alright, haven't torn down the engine to examine the wear and tear, but tests show Amsoil to be good, I'm not sure if they make an oil filter, and best place locally you could try motorcycle shop close to you, or sometimes there is registered Amsoil oil dealers near by, just sell oil as a side job. Hope that helps. Curby

It directed me to http://www.lubedealer.com/outstandinglubes/ which sent me back to the amsoil online store http://www.amsoil.com/storefront/default.aspx?zo=192100. I ordered 5 quarts and a filter yesturday from amsoil.com. The total price was $74.34 with tax and shipping. ($9.50 per quart and $14.80 for the filter) Do you offer better prices? If so, go ahead and post them up here and I'll keep it in mind for my next change and other members can get the benefit of the info. Thanks.

AMSOIL Dealers are not allowed to publicly post any pricing. That is why you did not find any at our website and will not find any here. If you go to amsoil.com or any Dealer site, it will take you to the corporate site, even though you may not realize it, and charge you full retail. Next time, you will need to go to info@ezlubes.com and request contact from a Dealer. Or, plan ahead and check out the dealers from our Banner Ad one at a time. There are over 20 Dealers that will show up, a different one each time you refresh the page.. Make some contacts and find a dealer you like. Bob S ADG
