The story: Youridin posted a thread last summer trying to get an idea from the members about how much he could get for this bike. I had been looking for an R1 for about 5 days when I ran into his thread. I posted up a price and said "this is an actual offer." After a couple PMs, we had agreed on a price on Tuesday and I had my train ticket on Wed to pick it up that weekend. I took the train from Boston to New York and rode the bike back home.
I don't think I gave Youridin time to really think about what he was doing. We stood there and just looked at the bike for a good 30 minutes before I left.
Youridin should get credit for this bike. Its a beautiful bike with not a single piece of chrome. I haven't touched it much since I got it besides getting the footpegs powder coated black and carbon fiber frame sliders.
Youridin has more pictures but he has been holding back, maybe you guys can convince him to post more.
I'm getting the bike on a dyno next month - will post video then.

TaylorWWWGuy 03-24-2008, 09:02 AM ..if that was mine i wouldnt ever take it out
Youridin never did take it out. I bought it in the summer of 2007 and in 3 years he put less then 5k miles on it. He was happy to know that I would ride it often and make sure everyone saw it, instead of keeping it garaged.
Klo1320 03-24-2008, 09:15 AM i've always loved that paint job and once I saw those mirrors, I knew I had to get a set like them in black. :fact.
D-Ryder7 03-24-2008, 09:59 AM Yeah he made a bad ass bike. Did he throw in the matching helmets with the deal?
.CROWBAR. 03-24-2008, 10:02 AM your angel eye is loose, but still a bad ass bike
TaylorWWWGuy 03-24-2008, 10:08 AM Yeah he made a bad ass bike. Did he throw in the matching helmets with the deal?
No, he gave me a good deal and he wanted to keep the helmet so he just gave me one of his extras so I didn't have to carry one with me on the train.
your angel eye is loose, but still a bad ass bike
Since those pictures another one fell down. I'll have them mounted again before I get back on the road.

Its nice to have something finished and just how I want it (98%) since I spend all my time and money doing the "mod, design, and planning" on my car.

Thanks, I think Youridin was willing to give me a good deal because he knew I would treat it well, show it off, and ride it often - he didn't want it just sitting in a show room
