thanks! peepingdc22 04-19-2008, 12:30 AM Go stock, they made it that way for a reason, Pilot Powers or Diablo Corsa III's. streetsleeper 04-19-2008, 12:13 PM the 55 series is going to be easier to turn on, better leaning radius. you can get a 190/55 too. try looking at the two side by side. i prefer the 180/55 over the 190/55. then the 190/50. it all depends on the way you ride and your terrain i would say. you can fit a 200/50 on there if you want the widest possible looking tire as well. it's all up to you. chris@flatout 04-19-2008, 12:55 PM i would have to agree with streetsleeper on the 180/55 lean angles. less tire to turn into the corners. fiveoh 04-19-2008, 12:55 PM the 55 series is going to be easier to turn on, better leaning radius. you can get a 190/55 too. try looking at the two side by side. i prefer the 180/55 over the 190/55. then the 190/50. it all depends on

Why exactly do you prefer a 180/55 over a 190/55? Rico750 04-19-2008, 02:27 PM Ok i just got me the michelin 190/50 today. I hope ill be ok.. mad271r1 04-19-2008, 05:12 PM Why exactly do you prefer a 180/55 over a 190/55?

That's not what makes a tire better. DanQ 04-19-2008, 07:42 PM That's not what makes a tire better.
You tried man... some won't listen. Soon as I run through my remaining 180/55s it will be 190/55 for my. SO glad that size is finally circulating. Rico750 04-20-2008, 12:19 AM so am i gonna die with the 190/50 now ?? how far can you push m ? fiveoh 04-20-2008, 06:09 AM Nothing wrong with a good 190/50. It's the 180/55 on a 6" rim that I'd worry about. Most people switch from a crappy model 190/50 to a high end 180/55 and assume that it's the size that's the benefit. The reality is that the 180 tire on a big bike lacks edge grip and drive grip. | |
