hey is the gytr slipon muffler loud? i'm lookin for something loud, any suggestions? i kno that with a akra y pipe it'll make any slipon loud already, but which slipon is loud without the y pipe?

hey is the gytr slipon muffler loud? i'm lookin for something loud, any suggestions? i kno that with a akra y pipe it'll make any slipon loud already, but which slipon is loud without the y pipe? i've heard a couple of GYTRs and they are fairly loud and nice growl to it..I wanted to get GYTRs a while back then then started doing research and found posting of how low the quality was, carbon fiber cracking, and even rivets coming off that was for my '05. bike looks good btw..:thumbup

Ive never had any issues with the slipons thus far. The sound is nice and in my opinion it seems loud. Can't really comment on performance as I had put these on as soon as I got the bike.

I have the graves slip ons. before I got the Y-pipe, they were loud as hell. After the Y-pipe- even louder.

Is the GYTR better than the Akrapovic??? I went GYTR simply because I wouldnt have to do any adjustments to ECU settings. We dont have authorized yamaha service centers in Trinidad; some things i prefer to leave to the pros.
